Travelers departing the United States should have little trouble adjusting to the time change on St. Kitts and Nevis. Spectacular views and a mild climate should help soften the transition to island time for visitors arriving from other parts of the world.

St. Kitts and Nevis, like most of the Eastern Caribbean, run on Atlantic Standard Time throughout the year. Atlantic Standard Time matches Eastern Standard Time during daylight-saving time in the United States and is one hour ahead when daylight time is not in effect. St. Kitts and Nevis stay four hours behind Greenwich Mean Time and five hours behind most of Europe.
