The postal service on St. Kitts and Nevis give visitors a chance to send post cards and other parcels back home.
Both St. Kitts and Nevis have post offices located on the island. The general post office on St. Kitts is located in Bassetterre and on Nevis in Charlestown. The hours operation may vary slightly between the two postal branches but their general operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On Thursdays the post office is only open from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Mail generally takes about 7 to 10 days to reach the United States, and airmail to Western Europe takes about 5 to 7 days.
St. Kitts and Nevis use different postage stamps, but each will hone the stamps issued by the other. These stamps are considered beautiful collector's items and some people may have a hard time actually using them.
There is no postal code, or street address in St. Kitts or Nevis, as on most of the other Caribbean Islands. The persons name, town, island, and sometimes postal box number are the only things required on outgoing mail.
