Vacationers are not required to present excessive amounts of official documents in order to enter St. Kitts or Nevis. Just remember to bring your passport. To enter either island, visitors from the United States and Canada must provide a valid passport or a birth certificate with a raised seal accompanied by a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license. British citizens will need to show a passport as well but do not need a visa. Most travelers will not need a visa to enter the islands as long as they are staying less than six months. Visitors traveling for vacation or for business will be required to show proof of return or onward travel, which is usually an airline ticket or other document that shows you will be leaving the island.
