St. Kitts and Nevis have moderate climates year round. With temperatures hardly ever getting below 72 degrees Fahrenheit at night and above 86 degrees Fahrenheit during the day these two islands are a vacationer's paradise almost any day of the year.

Although the weather is almost always perfect on Nevis and St. Kitts, there are some other factors to take into consideration when planning to visit these two islands.

High Season

If you want to go visit the islands during the most popular seasons of travel, schedule your vacation during the winter months. December to February are generally the busiest times to vacation on St. Kitts Nevis. Because tourism is at its peak during these months, accommodation rates are usually higher than other times of the year. Also, the usually quiet beaches may be more crowded. Another reason that the high season is so popular with tourists during the high season is the festival called Carnival. Carnival begins on Christmas Eve and goes until early January. This event is filled with parades, food festivals, street dancing, masquerades, private parties, and a lot more.

Low Season.

The best time to vacation on either St. Kitts or Nevis is during the summer months. From June to August, the beaches are usually less crowded and hotels and shops have generally more reasonable prices. Some tourists are deterred from visiting the island during this time of year because of the hurricane season, which begins on June 21 and last until November 21. The low season also has festivals and parties. In May, St. Kitts has the annual St. Kitts Musical Festival, and in June the island holds the St. Kitts and Nevis Regatta, which is a sailboat race.

Many people would agree that with the mixture of St. Kitts Nevis' great climate and casual atmosphere the islands make a great tropical getaway anytime of the year.
