Travelers can visit both St. Kitts and Nevis easily when they take a ferry ride

Popular ferry routes run daily between St. Kitts and Nevis, making it easy to experience both islands in one vacation.

Ferry journeys are an easy way to combine boating and touring. They are also inexpensive modes of transportation between both islands. The port charge is always EC$1, which comes out to be approximately $0.40(USD), and prices aboard the ferries range from EC$4 to EC$75. 

All of the ferries, though owned by different companies, work together to provide nearly daily transportation between Basseterre, St. Kitts and Charlestown, Nevis.  The trip takes approximately 45 minutes.   The only exception is the Sea Bridge, which takes off from the Southeast Peninsula, and is the only ferry to transport vehicles between St. Kitts and Nevis.  Travelers may wish to call the ferry information line provided by St. Kitts and Nevis before making plans to be sure that rates and times have not changed.
